COMPUTER TRAINING/TESTING CENTER

Tribes are learning that one of the ways to improve their economic condition of their reservations and their people is through the training and education of its community members - both young and old.   In today's global economy, the use of computers is universal - where 5 out of 6 jobs require at least some basic knowledge of computers and software utilization.  These certifications will also empower any individual to secure good, stable jobs - many of which can be performed at home on the reservation.  These are the new tools by which our people can strenghten themselves and their families - while embracing the spiritual power that surrounds us all.

In partnership with CERTIPORT, Inc. (www.certiport.com) of American Fork, Utah, the "TRIBES Computer Training/Testing Center" is designed to work with tribes in establishing computer training and testing centers around the country. The primary focus is to provide the necessary training and testing for certifications in IC3 (Internet and Computing Core Certification), Microsoft Office Specialist, Microsoft Application Specialist and Adobe products.
